My Week in Photos

Awwww! My Chubs is getting her braces on! She would always tell me that my teeth are in cages. Now, her teeth are in cages for at least 2 years.

I finally got to go to the beach! Chubs and I always wanted to do "beachnastics" (beach + gymnastics) and we got the chance to! I'm not sure what this move is called though :-/ It looks like we are trying to spell out the word "yo"

Oh Chubs. I always knew you were crazy... but not THIS crazy. Chubster goes through several "guy singer" phases a month. She has a shirt with Austin Mahone's face on it. NOW, I have to see this guy every morning! Clearly, I'm not a hater :)

I could never miss a week without seeing my Magster. That day, we went to the mall, we ran a bit, and ate cheesedoodles (our snack.) I'm kind of craving some right now...

              Oh yeaaah :)

Yummm. Almost forgot! I bought mod podge (or how some little kids would pronounce it: mudge fudge) at Michaels!! This book is my sketchbook. I wanted to decorate it somehow because it was just black. I found this triangle idea online and decided to put it to action! This would be perfect for a "back to school" d.i.y. The pictures are from one Times magazine. I hope this inspired you!!

My Week in Photos

This is me showing my brother his first Michelle Phan tutorials. Of course this is after I had to watch his NBA top ten videos.

Made blueberry pie and cucumber eye pads (two completely random things) with Lina. The pie came out watery, but the crust still tasted good!

Now that Libs and I are working at the same place, we can have lunch together! Unfortunately, it started to rain when we were walking back.

Chubs and I saw a new nail tutorial video of Bubzbeauty and had to try it out. Biscuit was just chilling in his crib next to us. AWWWW.

This is my dad attempting to use a curling iron on a very nervous Chubster (holding a rabbit mirror <3)

After a year, I finally caved into getting a hair cut. It's definitely shorter, but healthier!!! If you have a lot of split ends, get a trim... fast!

Chubster is getting into running with me and my dad. This was her first 3 mile run! She didn't do too bad!! Go Chubs!

So sad to have y brother gone for a month and a half :( Now I have no one to watch and make funny comments on Michelle Phan tutorials with. I'm going to miss you brother! Make a lot of friends!!! P.s That's granny/pau pau right there!!!! or I like to call her, an old version of Chubster.

My Week in Photos

This is more from last week, but this is a picture with my Chubs at a Korean noodle restaurant. PLEASE ignore my sister's shirt. You'll burn your eyes if you stare at it for too long.

I made a new "Day with my Friends" video which I probably won't post. We took Chubs for a run for her very first time! She did pretty well until she started burning up under the sun :(

Speaking of videos, "July Favorites" was just published this week! The summer is giving me a lot of time to chill near my air conditioner and edit videos. What can be better than that?

Sibling photo alert! This was just on a typical Sunday after church. I'm wearing a new dress because I got interviewed for a volunteer job! Yay for community service hours.

Made it to another road trip down to Albany. The little ramp near my knees is for ducks to walk on. Cute right?!

Oh my face... Oh my dads face! We stopped by for some Chili's in Albany. If you ever get the chance, order sweet potato fries! They were so good. Just showing my love towards my fantastic daddy!

July Favorites

I'm trying this new tag which is the favorites video. Sorry if this bores you guys. I really wanted to try something like this out. On top of that, I was really hot up there in my room! We are currently in a heat wave! Did you know that? You probably did. I hope this video was at least interesting. If it wasn't you can tell me :) For real! Just to let you know though, this video was really fun to edit! I hope you enjoyed this video!!

I know, I know. I'm hypocritical. E-O-S is okay to say just as eos. BOTH are okay, not weird :)

My Week in Photos

There has to come a day when you and your siblings take selfies for the whole afternoon.  Well, it wouldn't have taken the whole afternoon if Biscuit would've just cooperated. Finally, we got this nice shot of all of us looking into the camera :) I have no clue how Chubster ended up in that pose.

It was suppose to thunderstorm this day, but thank God it didn't! I had a really fun time.

I spent the my weekend on a youth retreat with these lovely girls. I'm so glad I went to this retreat and would love to do this again. God really spoke to me in a way that I didn't know was possible. Experience: encouraging. Sorry my shirt looks so weird (private information on it)

Right after the retreat, I went directly from my house to on the road (again). Taking a rest stop at Subways during our 8 hour trip to Cleveland, Ohio. I look pretty hungry in this picture... so does Chubs. Even though our car ride was long, it always helps to bring along a best friend :)

We finally arrived at Cleveland, Ohio to visit my mom's uncle from Taiwan. This picture was taken with Lake Erie and the FirstEnergy stadium as our background!

Again, I was wearing the shirt with "information" on it and had to hide it. Chubs and I just made it a twin photo by turning our shirts backwards. As you can see, we are in our hotel right now. And there is my mom in the background. Lovely. Can't wait to go home though, I'm exhausted :(

My Week in Photos

Running by yourself... well ... it's just running by yourself. However, running with friends is a lot better. This was on a humid Sunday afternoon. I revisited the trail where I had my first (and last!) race. Running on that trail was an interesting experience but this time, there wasn't any pressure. Then we ran on a trial that I'd never been to before and boy was that long! I had a lot of fun and would love to do this again!

Saturday night sky. Have you seen the moon this bright? When I was little, I never believed people when they told me that the moon glowed because the sun was behind it. That night, I saw how it all made sense.

My week was filled with revisiting the past! Chubster and I used to dress up when we were little and have themes for each round we were competing in. Of course we just had to relive those great times. What is different than the past was that now, we smack talk each other into thinking which outfit was better (clearly mine.) P.s Chubster totally copied my pom poms >:O This picture was the "cheerleader round."

One thing you must know about Biscuit would be that he LOVES eggs. Even if you just start boiling an egg, he would start gravitating towards the kitchen and stare at you. Biscuit would do anything for those eggs. One day, I made a boiled egg and ate it. When I was walking towards the stairs, Biscuit followed me. He was waiting for me to give him his portion. I take my eos (lip balm) and start using it while Biscuit's eyes follow the lip balms movement. Curious in what he might do, I drop the eos on the floor and Biscuit thinks it is an egg. Face palm.

My dad and I went out (just the two of us :) to eat some awesome Korean food. I mean look! These are just the complementary side dishes! After that meal, my dad and I held each other for support as we waddled back into the car.

Double Chevron Bracelet

I saw this picture online and my inspiration bulb went off. I always knew how to make friendship bracelets but, this picture was definitely be a challenge. In a blink of an eye, my bracelet was finished. Alright, it wasn't that fast (I almost skipped dinner), but I really loved how it turned out. I love when people wear a plain shirt and stack their wrists with colorful bracelets. They generally contain a friendship bracelet like the one I made, and some other gold chain bracelets. Basically, the more texture, the better!

Here is a good example of  stacking bracelets or arm candy. On this wrist you have the friendship bracelet as the pop of color, some studded beads, and worn metal pieces. When joined together, they make a eye catching appearance that no one could ignore. They don't have to get this fancy. The cool thing about stacking bracelets is that you can create different combos every time you wear them. This is something I would definitely enjoy rearranging during the summer. If you are looking for a new look or would enjoy this give it a try! I'm not sure if I have any credibility in this, but here is what I think is "in" for arm candy.

Happy Pappy Day everyone! There are so many things I could say about my dad. You have brought so much joy and love in my life it's insane! You're also really cool (now give me my $5) I love you so much Dad.

Camera Tricks

This idea just popped in my head one night and I put it to action. If you follow your dreams, they will come true... for real! I had a really fun time making this video although the headstand made my stomach queasy afterwards. The poll is favoring "funny videos" so here your go! It's kind of interesting because today I was taking an assessment at my school and I forgot to bring this very important packet with me to the car. We were halfway to the school when I just remembered about the packet. I was really upset and thought to myself "why can't I just pop up in my house, snatch the folder, and return back into the car?" Unfortunately, this only happens in the video world :(

Hey there!

Let me tell you what's up. I have finals coming up, regents, really hot school days and some more finals. I feel like summer is here but ... not just quite yet. Everywhere I go, it is hot! I had to dance ballet in the studio for 3 hours in warm still air. So far, I am living off of 2 pairs of shorts and 1 pair of short leggings. I really need to go shopping :( Of course, there is school. At the end of the year, a lot of kids feel like they are on cruise mode. For me, it feels like the middle of the school year. When the regents are over, I could finally say "it's time to relax". In that case, I could make more videos!
Story time: One day, my mom was trying to tell Chubster to go to a summer camp so she can have something to do when school is over. This is what she said "No! It's the summer time!" Then do you know what she said after that? She said....

Where the heck does she get these hilarious sayings from? My mom was just like "heh?" Sorry if you didn't think that was funny but that made Chubs and I laugh for a very long time. I hope your... "summah" is going as you planned it to. Nothing is better than just relaxing somewhere knowing that all you needed to do is done already. Have an awesome rest of the weekend!

Perfect Ponytail

Finally, another video! If you are gifted with silky hair or hair that "just works out for you" you can watch this for enjoyment. Also, if you don't have more than 1 foot of hair in length :P For me, super straight/stubbornly wavy hair makes my ponytails look like trash! If you didn't wash your hair for a day or you are tying your hair in the middle of the day, you won't really have this problem. Usually, it happens once you wake up. This technique isn't the healthiest for already damaged hair so don't do it every day. I like wavy pony tails, neat ponytails, and super strait ones but nothing in between!! I hope you enjoyed this video ;)

Nice and Wavy. My hairstyle would just be
considered "neat"
Super Straight

5000 Pageviews: Thanks Guys!

Fine, I admit. I made 4999 into 5000 by using an ipod to go on my own. But really? Who cares!?

Happy Mother's Day

This is my gift to the most special lady in my life! It's a yarn wrapped clothes hanger that I mangled up to make the words "mom". I also cleaned her room (background.) My mom is the person I go to for everything. She is always kind to everyone she talks to. Mom is a very good listener. She's listens with a caring and compassionate heart for others. Selfless. That's a accurate word that describes my mom. Mom thinks of others before herself. She's also very funny at times. I love my mom's sense of humor, warm smile, enthusiasm, and laugh. I also love her excitement when Jeremy Lin is actually playing in a game. There is nothing "not" to like about her.

MOM YOU ROCK. I love you!

My Morning Routine

Oh My Gosh! It is a morning routine video! You don't know how much fun I had editing this! Note that I had a lot of fun editing it, making it however, was a different story. First of all, I was so tired and looked like a rabbit with fish eyes. Secondly, my dad and I got into a mini argument about me spilling my milk tea "all over" his iPhone. I told him it shouldn't be in the eating area and of course my dad had to point out how my camera was on the table too. See what I get into just for you guys? Eventually we made up. You can assume that from the ending :P I hope you enjoy this video as much as I did filming it ;D

My Morning Routine Video Coming Soon!

Hey guys! I'm glad I caught your attention with this disturbing picture of me in the morning (credits to my creepy sister.) And yes, I still sleep with a blankie, a stuffed hippo, and an overstuffed elephant. Well, anyways, I am planning to make a morning routine video for you all so stay tuned! The video will definitely come out sometime this week. I am so excited for this video because I could finally become one of those girls who post videos about their day, their nights, and their mornings. Now that school is lightening up, I have more time to spend on forever crazy rabbit!! Toodalssss :)

p.s This picture is not from the video... Chubster just took a picture of me sleeping... she stalks my entire life.

What's Happening? (in Photos)

I finally got all of my middle school ID cards all together in the same spot. From the right to left is from 6th grade to 8th. When I was in 6th grade I was a quiet little stubby girl who thought I was so awesome. Little did I know, I was just a little 6th grader. In 7th grade, I found my way out of total lameness but struggled with making new friends. In 8th grade I thinned out (thankfully) and found a super cool friend but was still pretty quiet. If you look at pictures from when I as really young, you wouldn't recognize me. I am the type of person that looks different each year. Lets hope it's not for the worse!

Cool hairstyle alert! I tried doing a braided headband style for school. It was pretty in the morning but as the day went on, my baby hairs wanted to go back to their orignal position. Something I do a lot is make something really cool and end up taking it off. It's like getting yourself all dressed up for school but once you get home, you change into a t-shirt and sweats. For this hairstyle, I ended up taking it all out during science building class and tied my hair in a bun. The work we teenage girls do just to look nice.

Who's who? My very special twin and I decided to match today. People always get us mixed up but they would get more confused if I were taller. Other than that we are practically identical! I love how my legs just stop and Maggie's go on. What was the point of taking the picture sitting down then!? Humf... Twin day was really fun and is definitely happening again (on our own terms!!)

Look what I created! A mix of vibrant orange-red with tribal light-blue. Ignore by battered cuticles. A lot of people told me that they looked like poke balls. They don't! This nail design is super easy and is actually the only "complex" nail design I actually kept on my nails! Hard to believe huh? For the red- orange I used 1 coat of Banana Republic Nail Polish. I used 2 coats of Essie Teal for the light-blue side. If you want an easy yet trendy nail design, this should give you something to work on.

Cleaning My Room

Finally, I made a post you viewers would love! My famous videos! My room needed a bit of a clean. Well, it's Chubster's room too but try to get that girl to clean. That would be a miracle. Yes, I am playing the guitar there but I don't think it sounds too great. There are too many Bm changes and it was driving me insane. A for "affort" right? Also, my camera cut me off! I was supposed to be folding the laundry until it was fully done. When I edited the video it froze at me picking up some white pants. :(.
Vote on my poll! It will actually make my life easier. The sooner I check and see a popular vote the sooner I could start making a video. VOTE.

P.s If you are wondering what that bumble bee is I don't blame you. You put a SAT word card in the mouth and the bee flips the card inside so you see the definition.

Friends

I'm going to switch schools this coming school year which is sad news. When I first started in my new school I asked God "Why would you let me be here? Now I have to make all new friends :(" By the way, if you didn't know, my school isn't the best. Still, I kept God's word of being there for a reason and having a greater plan for me. Now that I think of it, God really lead me to some unbelievable friends! Even though some teachers couldn't care less about work and students come to school to kill time I met these incredibly kind people that made the hours pass by.
When I first moved to my new school it was hard to start all over again. My past friendships had me feel that making all new friends wasn't worth it. That't until friendship had a whole other meaning. Being friends with the people I have now is amazing. Every joke, every comforting word, every conversation we have is so genuine. I love hanging out with them during physical science class in our own little group making electricity or sanding wood.

To Maria: You're the smartest and sweetest of our bunch.
To Melissa: You bring the fun and silliness to our group... and rice krispies!
To Jaime: Sigh.. you are what you are and that is all I got to say
To Natalie: The person we talk to for advice. And the person who always smells the best :P
To Maggie: The LIFE of the party. I won't ever meet sweeter, kinder, and funnier people than you guys. So, don't think I'm going to find some "more" amazing friends like you guys ever. Not even in a new school.
